ADMIN FEE R1000.00
This fee covers the Administration of enrolling your child with us. Please note that once this fee is paid the child space
at the school is secured and you will be liable for the fees for the month indicated. Please note that this amount is
not refundable.

STATIONERY FEE R1000.00
The Stationery Fee is payable upfront at the beginning of January each year or on enrolment.
This fee covers all the stationery required for the year, including message book, crafts and art projects that are done
during the year and all the books that the Learner’s work out of during the year. Please note that this amount is not
refundable.

Notice to remove the child from Bonsai Day-care and Nursery School
Should parents wish to remove his/her child/children form our school, then the Parents shall be obliged to give
Bonsai Day-care and Nursery school one calendar month’s written notice, starting the 1st of the month to month end.


Illness and Medication
Bonsai Day care & Nursery school cannot accept responsibility for extremely sick children; those running high
temperatures, vomiting, or showing any signs of infectious illness.
We advise parents to keep the child at home for the duration of treatment, parents can enquire at the school if they
require a full time caregiver at an additional cost to baby sit the child at home during the duration of the treatment.
The administration of medication to any child by a member of the personnel may only be performed upon the written
consent of the parent. Parents must specify what medication is to be administered; the quantity that must be
given and what time the medication must be administered. The parent’s name must be clearly stated, then signed at
this instruction.

ANNUAL TOILETRIES 2-6 years
Toiletries should be brought in at the beginning of January each year or on your enrolment if during the year.
Toiletries are non-refundable.
* 18 2-Ply Toilet Rolls
* 12 X 72 Wet Wipes-
* 4 X 180 Box 2-Ply Facial Tissues
* 1 X 200ml Sunblock SPF 30
* 1 Tub Vaseline/Aqueous Cream/Lotion
* 1 Box of Plasters
* 1 Bottle Dettol Liquid Hand Soap
* 1 X Hand lotion

Toiletry-3 months -24 months
Labelled blanket for baby at sleep time
Child's toiletry bag containing:
Face cloth
Sun cream and sun hat
Bum cream
Face cream (aqueous if possible)
Brush if necessary
Child must have 2 extra sets of clothes in bag daily and bibs . All items MUST be labeled.

Daily:
6 x Nappies and wipes
freshly made milk bottles and milk formula for the day
2x sets of bottles
Baby cereal and purity of choice

POTTY TRAINING
You will be advised by the class teacher when your child is ready for potty training- we normally start at the age of
16-18 months.

UNIFORM
Bonsai Day care and Nursery School T-shirt can be purchased from the reception.
As kids will be involved in many activities, please ensure your child has at least one changing set of clothes.
There’ll be functions and outings that will require all kids to in uniform for easy identification and control.

MEALS
We offer TWO nutritious meals a day and snacks in-between. Breakfast is served between 7am and 8 therefore we
kindly ask that your child arrives on time for breakfast. However if you prefer bringing your child later than 8am, it is
your responsibility to ensure they would have had their breakfast by then.
On Fridays you’re allowed to pack your child a healthy snack, even though we still supply snacks.
For extra care on Saturdays and Public holiday we don’t offer meals, you should pack a healthy meal for your child,
we do however give them healthy snacks.

Toys and Cell phones
No toys or cell phones or any other items are allowed at school, as this may cause conflicts amongst our kids.


Operating Hours:


Our school hours are strictly from:
06:30-17:30 full day
06:30 – 13:00 half day, Monday to Friday,
Public Holidays and Weekend-7:00-17:00 at an additional fee of R280.00


A penalty fee of R50 for the first 15 minutes and R100 for every 30 minutes thereafter will be charged.
This fee can be paid immediately/ or included in the monthly fee for that month.

The school shall be closed around Mid December for December holidays and opens on the 1st week of Jan.
The specific details will be communicated to Parents in writing well in advance. The full school fees shall be payable,
despite the closure of the school during this period.

Daily rate of R180 for normal day, & daily rate of R280 for public holidays will be charged during Dec holidays should
parents wish to leave their children in our care.
